About Us

NTReTA works to support the interests of teachers interested in improving the research skills of their students. We support teachers of NTCET Research Project subjects, as well as those teachers who would like additional support or encouragement to improve their teaching of research skills with their students, at any stage of schooling. We provide assistance with:

  • Understanding the curriculum requirements of Research Project subjects and other NTCET subjects with a research component
  • Developing competence and confidence in teaching primary and secondary research skills
  • Sharing strategies and classroom activities that engage students in research

NTReTA has a close relationship with the Association of Secondary Research Teachers (ASRT) in South Australia.

What is the benefit of an NTReTA Membership?

Membership provides access to webinars on research teaching as well as access to professional learning and teaching resources.

We offer individual and institutional membership levels. Please visit our website for membership information.
