About Us

ATOM NT is a professional teacher association promoting the delivery of media and screen literacy and media arts. ATOM NT is a member-based volunteer organisation that exists to support, educate and connect people within the Media Arts sector in the Territory. Membership is open to everyone within the education and media industry. 

ATOM NT supports teachers by:

• Researching and identifying emerging industry issues
• Promoting resources to assist in teaching practice
• Recognising best practice in teaching via bi-annual PTANT Awards

ATOM NT educates teachers by providing professional learning via workshops and conferences. ATOM NT connects teachers via face-to-face professional learning opportunities and social media platforms.
